Mood Board: Year of the Emerald
I wanted to start off 2013's mood boards with the Pantone color of the year: Emerald. Of course, you can make any darn color you want the color of YOUR year, but Pantone's annual announcement seems to carry a great deal of clout within the fashion and interior design world. What do you think of this bold hue, and how will you incorporate it into your life? Personally, I will wait until I have some semblance of a tan to sport it in a big way, and stick to accessories for the rest of winter!

I feel very out of the loop because this is the first time i've heard of Pantone's color of the year! But I'm really digging emerald. I love that clutch and those earrings! It doesn't seem to be the easiest color to pull off, but would make a great accent color. Thanks for the post! :)

I absolutely adore emerald. It's such a classy color and reminds me of royalty. I don't have much of it, but I want to find some classic earrings or staple jewelry pieces to add to my collection this spring!

I am so happy this is the colour of the year because it is my FAVOURITE! Especially since i'm a brunette, I think it goes so well with that colouring. Great picks here Steph!
ReplyDeleteEmeral is AMAZING and happens to be my birth stone... but i just never seem to wear it. Great mood board. Pretty sure I have those exact glasses in cobalt blue - yes cobalt blue, that is my favorite color :)
