Stella & Dot Spring Jewelry Preview

This past Wednesday I had the pleasure of attending the Calgary Stella and Dot Spring Rally for stylists and directors to preview their new spring collection. As a prospective stylist, I appreciated every detail of the fun event from the gourmet treat bar, the layout of the pieces, to the amazing sense of camaraderie that I felt from the existing team members. After speaking with the directors who graciously took the time to address my questions, I feel as though the company has two very important strengths. One, is that they are empowering women to take business success into their own hands, and two is that there's something for everyone in their line; Spring 2013 being no exception.

The most interesting part of the event to me, as someone who is interested in styling, was seeing the same Spring collection pieces being worn so many different ways; Proving that they are versatile pieces and that you can make them your own! The directors also held a styling session where they selected one piece to style two ways, with items from their wardrobe. To me this was such a powerful visual to get me brainstorming ways to wear the line based on my own clothes! Below are some of my favorite snaps I took of ways the new pieces were styled and you can shop the Stella and Dot Spring/Summer 2013 here! Thanks for having me!

Leopard, denim, and bling, featuring the new collection of super soft scarves!

Top left clockwise : The Carmen Necklace, Bryant Park Scarves, stylists eyeing up the jewelry displays, the Fiona Bib Necklace

The Spring Awakening Necklace looked stunning with this stylist's red hair and pink button up.

Amazing sweets buffet; I missed out on the chocolate fountain but took some licorice for the road!

The on-trend emerald Jolie Necklace was so fun against a casual sweater; also featuring the new (and very affordable) bamboo inspired Julep bangles.

Wine, tulips, and wrist soirees.

The Fiona Bib Necklace looked so fresh paired with a nude blouse.

The Avalon Fringe necklace took on extra shimmer against a blouse that mimicked it's golden tones.

The Adrienne Mixed-Chain Necklace added an edge to a sleek tuxedo jacket.

A gorgeous mixed metals combination featuring (from left to right): Meredith Stretch Bracelet,  Eden Bangle, Kismet Bracelet, Chimera Bangle

A black background of sleek leather let the Avalon Fringe necklace speak for itself.
