Plaid, Cable Knit, Leather: Oh My!

And we are BACK in action after moving houses and loss of internet. How terrible it is to be at the mercy of Starbucks, hot spots, and your neighbors who were foolish enough to put their apartment number as their wifi password... Major first world problems to be sure.

But enough about that! Every year, I try to think outside the box for holiday dressing. Sure, there are events that call for the super formal attire, however I think there are many more get-togethers, casual coffees, and outdoor activities that call for festive flair along with warmth and comfort. Layer up and keep it interesting by mixing fabrics and patterns. I love the contrast of cable knit, fair isle and plaid against leather.

My leather look panel leggings from Awfully Pretty are actually one size fits all (read: super stretchy to accommodate all those damn snowman cookies) and are also really warm! What kind of cozy activities are you looking forward to this month?
